Audio Hypnosis Recording Guidelines:

We recommend the following when listening to any hypnosis audio recording:

  • Do not drive or operate any kitchen equipment or machinery.
  • Ensure that you are settled down somewhere comfortable. Most people will recline on a sofa or bed.
  • As far as possible, try to make sure that you will not be disturbed for the duration of the recording.
  • Wear clothing that is comfortable.
  • Do not exercise immediately before listening to a recording.
  • Make sure that you use the toilet prior to settling yourself down.
  • Try not to drink caffeinated drinks for up to 3 hours beforehand.
  • If you are listening to a recording using your mobile phone, turn it onto ‘silent’ so that you will not be distracted by the sound of any incoming messages or emails.
  • Have a glass of water nearby in case you get thirsty during the session (it is perfectly ok to have a drink during hypnosis as long as you sit up fully).
  • The body temperature can drop during hypnosis so you may wish to have a blanket or something else nearby to keep you warm.
  • Use earphones, if possible, to block out any background noise.
  • It is perfectly normal to fall asleep when listening to hypnosis recordings. Although it is likely that you will wake up at the end of the audio, if you have commitments or need to awaken for anything, it is advisable to set an alarm.

Now that you know what to do and you’re all set, you can get yourself comfortable, relax and enjoy!
