About Me

Hello and welcome. I am Bobby-Jo and I am the Founder and Managing Director of The Hampshire Hypnotherapy Clinic. I am a multi-award winning Certified Trainer and Master Practitioner of Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Life Coaching. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Theory and have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Counselling. I am a Senior Member and Registered Supervisor of the Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists Register (ACCPH). I am also a Registered Member and Supervisor of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) and comply with their strict code of ethics.

I am passionate about working with people and have over 20 years’ experience of supporting and coaching individuals in relation to mental health, personal and emotional well-being and professional development, both in the public and private sectors. I am a trainer, tutor, clinical supervisor and course author, and have specialist experience in using a variety of advanced and revolutionary Hypnotherapy and NLP techniques.

I have always had a fascination with human behaviour and the workings of the mind. It was when I struggled with my own personal challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression and associated unhealthy habits and behaviours, that I experienced first-hand just how powerful our subconscious minds are and how transformational modalities that work with the subconscious mind can be. I decided to make it my mission to help as many people as possible worldwide to overcome a variety of issues, using a combined approach and methodology of working with both the conscious and subconscious parts of the mind. And so, The Hampshire Hypnotherapy Clinic was born!

As a team we are continuously growing, developing, expanding and progressing, both personally and professionally, to enable us to be the best that we can be in helping you become the best you can be. We are genuinely privileged and grateful to each and every one of our clients who choose to work with us.

Please feel free to contact me anytime on 07894 761979 or email me at info@hhchypnotherapy.co.uk. I look forward to speaking with you about we can best help you.

Paul Hirst

About Me

Hi, I’m Paul.  I am a Diploma qualified Hypnotherapist, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming (EMDR) Practitioner.  I am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register and the Complimentary Natural Healthcare Council.

Furthermore, I a qualified virtual Hypnotherapy Gastric Band weight loss practitioner, am certified in past-life regression and I also teach mantra meditation. Meditation is very good for processing our thoughts and feelings and relaxation.

My goal is to provide a holistic yet individually client-centred approach. Together, we focus on your well-being, considering your physical, mental and emotional health, in addition to your personal surroundings and background.  I use a variety of tried and tested hypnotherapy and NLP techniques developed by world famous hypnotherapists Roy Hunter, Charles Tebbetts, Richard Bandler, Paul Mckenna and Milton Erikson.

I use the following client centred process which is tailored to your unique needs and goals:

  • Hypnotherapy to relax body and mind and access your sub-conscious mind.
  • Facilitate change / release – Hypnotherapy to establish cause(s) and then use NLP techniques, inner child, and gestalt therapies to release non-constructive thoughts, people, feelings, habits, fears, phobias & emotions.
  • Positive reprogramming to boost confidence and aid relaxation.
  • If required I can also teach you self-hypnosis so that you can deal with situations, goal and challenges in a more relaxed and confident way.
  • Hypnosis takeaway recordings to help you reprogram your sub-conscious mind.

Hypnosis helps the body to relax and stills the mind, then with guidance you’re able to let go of negative patterns or behaviours and replace them with the positive changes you desire. I believe that by dealing with the cause of a problem rather than just treating the symptoms you can achieve long lasting life changing results for many issues from trying to lose weight, dealing with a phobia, or just trying to get a good night’s sleep.

Hypnotherapy can also heal, uplift, build confidence and improve performance. If you want to create lasting changes in your life, Hypnotherapy may help you.

Please contact me for a free discovery call by emailing me at info@hhchypnotherapy.co.uk to find out how I can help you.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Becky Smith

About Me

Hi, I’m Becky, a Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner and Mindset Coach, supporting you to feel the best version of yourself irrespective of age or gender. I am based in the South of England but can work with anyone, anywhere, thanks to the power of technology. I trained with the Anglo European College of Excellence and continuously research and develop my knowledge further to help people get the best results possible.

I have always really enjoyed helping people to make the most of their potential and live happier lives. Hypnotherapy and NLP are the perfect modalities in helping you take control of your mind by unlocking the solutions and gifts that are already inside you to help you achieve your goals. I help with many issues including phobias, confidence, weight management, unwanted habits, depression and anxiety.

Due to my experience in the health and fitness industry, I am particularly passionate about helping people achieve health transformations, overcoming mental blocks and creating a supportive mindset to help you achieve your health goals. I understand how frustrating weight management and lack of self-confidence can be, as I have been there myself. When I discovered how powerful the subconscious mind is and overcame my own personal challenges, I decided to make it my mission to help people struggling with weight management and confidence issues move forwards with challenges they have been unable to overcome using the conscious part of their mind only.

I also have extensive experience in working with children. I am able to help children to overcome whatever issues are holding them back, empowering them to think and feel better about themselves. I create a safe and supportive environment in which children feel able to open up to me so that we can work together to help them move forwards during what is a crucial developmental time in their young lives.
Please feel free to get in touch by emailing me at info@hhchypnotherapy.co.uk for a free consultation and find out how I can help you start to make changes today. Looking forward to helping you on your journey.

Becky

Lizzy Bulpitt

About Me

Hello, my name is Lizzy Bulpitt and I am a fully qualified Pluralistic Counsellor and Clientcentred Hypnotherapist. I hold diploma level qualifications in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapeutic counselling. I am a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS) and the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) and work within their ethical frameworks. In addition, I am also a neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner and a Hypno-gastric band weight  management specialist.

I have spent 15 years working within the NHS and for the last four years I’ve been supporting cancer sufferers and their relatives at all stages of diagnosis and treatment. Working with Macmillan and in private practice, as a hypnotherapist and offering specialist counselling. Training in pluralistic counselling allowed me to embrace my creativity and own my authentic way of working; allowing me to utilise all my skills in a holistic way. Every client who enters counselling is unique requiring different counselling approaches, at different points in their life and for different reasons. Just as no two people are the same, no two therapy sessions are the same.

Using pluralistic counselling, we can establish the best way of working for you as a unique individual, tailoring an approach that puts you at the heart of therapy. An approach which supports you as you discover and work towards your therapy goals in your own unique way and at your own pace.

I have a special interest in using creative methods alongside more traditional talking therapy and hypnotherapy. These can be very powerful tools that give you the opportunity to create a unique safe space to let go of limiting beliefs and gain courage from the therapeutic relationship. This in turn can lead to enlightenment, personal growth, empowerment and lasting change. These methods work particularly well for anxiety including  school/college/exam attendance issues and health related issues but can be easily adapted for work with relationships issues including grief and loss. These methods work equally well with teenagers, adults and the elderly.

So if you’re sitting there wondering if this approach might be the answer you’ve been looking for or even if you’re just curious to see what pluralistic counselling and/or hypnotherapy is all about don’t hesitate. You can contact me for a free discovery call by emailing me at info@hhchypnotherapy.co.uk to find out more information and to work out if I’m the therapist for you. What have you got to lose? I look forward to hearing from you and working towards your brighter future.

Mark Stewart

About Me

Hi, my name is Mark.  I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist registered with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society and am also a qualified Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner registered with the National Hypnotherapy Society.

Having undertaken my own healing journey many years ago using both Hypnotherapy and Counselling, I learnt to appreciate first-hand how these therapies can help the healing and personal development processes through greater self-awareness, enhancing overall wellbeing and facilitating change.  These experiences positively influenced my decision to change my career and pursue my passion and purpose for helping others.

I have worked for Rowans Hospice as a Grief Counsellor for the past couple of years on a voluntary basis.  My work includes helping clients with emotional support, coping mechanisms and assisting them in adapting to the transition of living alongside their grief.

I am delighted to be a member of the Hampshire Hypnotherapy Clinic team and offer Hypnotherapy and Counselling sessions tailored to your specific needs.  I combine Hypnotherapy with Neuro Linguistic Programming, helping you change your thoughts and behaviours to achieve desired outcomes, replacing limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviours, thus improving relationships, overcoming fears, phobias, stress, anxiety and much more.

Having trained as a Pluralistic Counsellor/Psychotherapist I am able to use methods and interventions from the three main counselling approaches:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: Understanding your personal belief system (schema) and equipping you with the tools to address current problems in life, through goal orientated targets.
  • Person Centred/Humanistic Therapy: A non-directive approach, helping you to achieve “self actualisation” (become your true self) in the here and now.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy: Helping you understand how current thoughts and behaviours are shaped by past experiences and suppressed emotions, and promoting positive change.

We offer a number of different therapeutic packages designed to meet your specific needs.  Working from our Portchester office, I provide you with a warm, confidential, non-judgmental, safe space.  Session days and times can be flexible on request and telephone and online appointments are also available.

You can contact me for a free discovery call by emailing me at info@hhchypnotherapy.co.uk.  I look forward to speaking with you.

Clark West

About Me

Hello, my name is Clark and I’m a qualified counsellor / talking therapist, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

My work with clients is based on Transactional Analysis (TA), a specific type of talking therapy that examines social interactions and aims to improve communication and relationships. TA also incorporates elements of childhood experiences, providing a framework for understanding why people behave the way they do. It also encourages people to be more aware of their own behaviour.

Therapy means different things to different people. My personal perspective on therapy is that of growth and exploration, and I have used that throughout my life, especially since starting my training as a therapist. I also have significant experience in bereavement counselling and currently volunteer as an addiction recovery therapist within the NHS. Whether you want therapy as a space to explore, reflect, grow, or simply release some emotions, I will guide and support you through that process.

Please contact me for a free discovery call by emailing me at info@hhchypnotherapy.co.uk to find out how I can help you. I look to hearing from you.

Abi Levy

About Me

Hi, I’m Abi and I work as an integrative counsellor, which basically means I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I mix different therapeutic styles to find what actually works for you. I offer a friendly, relaxed space where you can talk openly—no pressure and no judgement.

I work with a variety of presenting issues such as anxiety, low mood, or just feeling overwhelmed by life (because let’s face it, life can be a lot).

In addition, I have undertaken specialist training to work with children and young people and those struggling with disordered eating (such as Anorexia, Bulimia and Binge Eating Disorder), self-esteem, or body dysmorphia.

Whatever it is you’re dealing with, we’ll work together at your pace, with plenty of empathy- and maybe even the occasional laugh when it’s needed.

You can contact me for a free discovery call by emailing me at info@hhchypnotherapy.co.uk to find out more information.  I look forward to hearing from you.

John Styles

About Me

Hello, I’m John and I am a qualified Hypnotherapist registered with the National Hypnotherapy Society. As a member of the Hampshire Hypnotherapy Clinic team I offer Hypnotherapy sessions tailored to your specific needs.  Sessions are designed around you as an individual for maximum impact and long-lasting effect. I’m able to support you in achieving changes in your habits or beliefs in the following areas:

  • Self Esteem / Self Worth / Confidence
  • Stress and Anxieties (whether general or around a specific issue)
  • Unwanted Habits (eg Nail biting, Smoking Cessation, Social Media / Screen-Time)
  • Fear & Phobias (Eg Flying, Exams, Public Speaking)

My approach is to offer hypnotherapy as a partnership and a process; through working together we identify how best to help you make the changes you wish to experience.  We do this by tapping into the power of your subconscious mind, which is what hypnotherapy is all about.

We begin by exploring the issue(s) you would like to address, which includes discussing your background, lifestyle and support network.  If you have not experienced hypnotherapy before I will clearly explain and guide you through how it all works and the steps involved to ensure that you are well-informed, orientated and part of the process. When you are comfortable doing so, we will facilitate some hypnotherapy in a steady, calm and safe environment.

I will use your valuable feedback to tailor every part of your treatment plan around you. Hypnotherapy is a very personal thing, everyone is different and so by tailoring your sessions and treatment plan, we maximise the chances of lasting success.  I will recommend helpful activities for you to undertake in between sessions and will also provide you with recordings of your powerful hypnosis sessions where it is appropriate to do so.

You might encounter ‘breakthrough’ moments in our journey where you suddenly feel different. It may also be the case that ‘persistence pays’ as we make steady, gradual changes together. Sometimes it’s only at the end, when looking back, that you’ll notice how far you’ve come.

So, a partnership and a process, if you’re ready to make a change, I’m here to help you.  Please contact me for a free discovery call by emailing me at info@hhchypnotherapy.co.uk.  I look forward to hearing from you and to working together.

John

So how do we work?

At the Hampshire Hypnotherapy Clinic we use a combination of hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT and life coaching to support you in getting the life you want. Hypnotherapy, NLP and EFT are rapid transformational change therapies that work by changing your relationship with problematic issues or behaviours that prevent you from being the best version of you. We store beliefs about ourselves, both helpful and not so helpful, in our subconscious minds and therefore to make effective and lasting change to unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviours, it can be necessary for these to be changed at the subconscious level. Hypnotherapy, NLP and EFT specifically target and work on the subconscious mind and together provide an effective, rapid change in behaviour.

We are extremely non-judgemental and open in our approach. We work with you and the issues that you are struggling with. We are firm believers that everyone has all the resources and knowledge that they need within themselves to resolve their problems; we have the privilege of supporting individuals through their personal journeys, helping them to discover for themselves their own skills and strengths.
